StudX Shipping & Fulfilment Policy

Effective Date: August 12, 2026

This Policy explains how fulfilment and delivery responsibilities operate on StudX.

StudX is a marketplace and technology platform. StudX does not currently operate as a fulfilment centre or automatically take physical possession of goods sold through the marketplace.

1. Seller Fulfilment

Unless a specific StudX service states otherwise, sellers are responsible for fulfilling their own orders.

Sellers and buyers may arrange fulfilment through appropriate methods, including:

  • In-person collection.
  • Campus meetups.
  • Seller-arranged delivery.
  • Third-party delivery services.
  • Other mutually agreed arrangements.

StudX does not guarantee the availability, safety, quality, or performance of third-party delivery services.

2. Buyer and Seller Coordination

Once an order has been accepted, the buyer and seller are responsible for coordinating the practical details of fulfilment.

This may include:

  • Meeting location.
  • Collection time.
  • Delivery arrangements.
  • Contact information.
  • Special requirements.

Users should exercise appropriate caution when arranging physical meetups.

3. Proof of Fulfilment

StudX may use transaction confirmations and other evidence to determine whether an order has been fulfilled.

Where supported, both the buyer and seller may confirm that an item or service has been successfully handed over or completed.

A buyer's confirmation may be sufficient to mark a transaction as completed where appropriate.

StudX may introduce additional verification methods, including photographic or image-based verification, in the future.

4. Non-Delivery

If an accepted order is not fulfilled, the buyer may report the transaction and request a refund.

StudX may investigate the matter using available information, including:

  • Platform messages.
  • Order information.
  • Photographs.
  • Confirmation records.
  • Seller explanations.
  • Buyer explanations.
  • Other relevant evidence.

Where appropriate, the transaction may be cancelled and the buyer refunded.

5. Delivery Responsibility

Unless StudX explicitly provides a delivery service, StudX is not responsible for physically transporting goods between buyers and sellers.

The seller remains responsible for fulfilling the order in accordance with the listing and any agreement reached with the buyer.

Where a buyer and seller independently use a third-party courier or delivery provider, that provider may have separate terms and responsibilities.

6. StudX Eats

For food and beverage transactions, the participating vendor remains responsible for:

  • Food preparation.
  • Food quality.
  • Food safety.
  • Ingredients and allergens.
  • Order accuracy.
  • Appropriate packaging.
  • Fulfilment.
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

StudX provides the marketplace and ordering infrastructure and does not generally prepare, manufacture, or physically handle food sold through StudX Eats.

StudX may investigate reports concerning food quality, safety, inaccurate orders, repeated delays, or other issues and may restrict or suspend vendors where appropriate.

7. Services

For services, fulfilment means the service has been provided according to the agreed arrangement between the buyer and seller.

The seller is responsible for:

  • Attending or delivering the service as agreed.
  • Communicating changes or cancellations.
  • Meeting applicable professional or legal requirements.
  • Providing the service substantially as described.
